AmpliTube also offers innovative ways to play, practice and record with an optional Looper, more drum track loops, a full 8-track recorder and DAW-style studio all available for in-app purchase. Whether it’s at home, in the studio or on stage, AmpliTube is the dream rig you’ve always wanted, in a device that’s always with you!
- It’s never been easier to record on the go – there’s a huge market for portable instrument interfaces nowadays aimed squarely at mobile music makers. Since the inclusion of Inter-App Audio in 2013 (and through Audiobus before that), savvy GarageBand iOS guitarists have been rocking out to and recording with many different guitar sim apps.
- Drag the Amplitube 4 folder to the trash. In this “IK Multimedia” folder, click on the Edit menu and click Paste. This should paste the “AmpliTube 4” folder that you copied. Check to make sure that all the Presets appear here. Open GarageBand and load AmpliTube 4. You should now see the Presets available from the upper-left menu.
- The Airturn Bluetooth floor pedal is supported and works well for switching presets and today I tried it with Audiobus into Garageband with great results. Lastly, being able to browse other people's shared presets is a bonus that Amplitube for iPad didn't give me. Cannot recommend this enough.
Amplitube Vs Garageband Ipad 1
Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Amplitube Or Garageband Ipad
- Similar. Nembrini perhaps better and more sparkly during first solo. Which one feels better? And do they respond similarly when you roll off the volume knob etc.?
- Nembrini seems to have more whoomp (in the bottom end)
Amplitube's is more even across the frequency spectrum - Nembrini for me. Amplitube sounds like a simulation in comparison.
- I think they sound very similar. So either one is a good choice!
- @flo26 Which one feels better? And do they respond similarly when you roll off the volume knob etc.?
- To get a good clean sound, I’m needing to turn preamp almost to ZERO lol

The mids on the amplitube’s one are more proeminent to my ears, and exactly in the same range of frequecies, which i like a lot.
Both are really good!
Flo - @Flo Am I right in thinking that these are both light years ahead of the standard amps that were originally shipped with amplitude… Before Fender 2, Soldano , Z, etc.?

At least one every session and it’s awfulMy Nembrini setup is so far rock solid
- What I said is confusing. Using the boost channel, I cant get it “clean” enoughI’m trying to see what I can do without pedals but I have both their tube screamer and fuzzy face

Honestly, amplitube has become my go to app for guitar amps and pedals.
Their british pack is amazing!!
Their boogie pack sounds really good!
The app is so versatile.
I really don’t need anything else.
Oh,vstomp hd has great marshall in it. - @flo26 I use Amplitube and VStomp and they sound great but holy moly the crashes (loud sound bursts) — dont get any from AUs

@flo26 I use Amplitube and VStomp and they sound great but holy moly the crashes (loud sound bursts) — dont get any from AUsI have this problem with bias and vstomp hd,but not with amplitube.(.) However, a nice guy named Lars Kobbe has put together a workaround/hack that extracts MIDI data from the reluctant clutches of GarageBand. You can download his GB2MIDI Apple droplet script from his site:. You can get MIDI from GarageBand using these free application or browser conversion methodsOne of the biggest drawbacks of GarageBand is the lack of built-in support for exporting MIDI data. How to send garageband files from iphone to mac. - @audiobussy said:

The best ampsims available as IAPs within app. Soldano, Fender packs (1 & 2), Brit pack, Mesa - all of them have a lot of great amps for any occasion! I have a wide range of guitar apps for iOS and Mac, but every time I need a digital sound (recording, night jamming etc) I start with Amplitube. Just because in sounds great on both platforms, including iOS. - edited March 2@flo Just bought Z and got a crash within 3 minutes.. sound burst. Fine for reamping, but I’d never play out with it.. even with friends.. they’d laugh@Kranick Right, but the expansions are next level, yes?

Which interface?
Which ipad? - edited March 2Virtual dj 8 effects and samples free download. I’m actually playing the Z amp,and i have no probems at all.
- @flo26 ALL iaa apps. I’m using Audiobus, a Focusrite Scarlett, and a 1st Gen iPad Pro
- edited March 2Latency in aum?
Sample rate?
When sound bursts appear,if you are in aum, open amplitube and then go back to aum.
Noise should be gone.If not,try the same thing with other apps. - @audiobussy said:

And I run a number of IAA apps that never crash. The particular apps and plugins you are running are probably relevant. - edited March 2@audiobussy said:
@Kranick Right, but the expansions are next level, yes?I don't think so. IMHO you don't need a lot of gear to make musik. I use digital amps in the same way as I usually use real amps: choose ONE amp, couple of pedals and ready to rock! Here is an short example how Amplitube sounds with my guitar:But here are the same ampsim, same pedals, but changed settings: - edited March 2At the beginning of the video, there seems to be a big difference when you let the chords ring out/sustain (but you tend to switch amp before the chords fully decay, so it’s hard to tell for sure): with nembrini, the change in distortion as the chords decay seems gradual/continuous, whereas the amplitube seems steppy. If that’s actually what’s going on, the amplitube’s response to dynamics seems much more crude and artificial — less like a nice amp. (In practice that’s the kind of difference that makes modelers feel off during play to me.)
